Blue Mountains Cultural Centre

Blue Mountains Cultural Centre

The Blue Mountains Cultural Centre is one of New South Wales' premier regional Arts and Cultural facilities and is the most significant development in the Blue Mountains in recent history. The Cultural Centre, with a combined public area of over 4000sqm, is home to the impressive 600sqm Blue Mountains City Art Gallery, the World Heritage Interpretive Centre, a spectacular viewing platform to the Jamison Valley and extensive workshop and seminar spaces. In addition, the new state-of-the-art Katoomba Library is co-located within the Centre.

The varied and extensive changing public program can be viewed here: http://bluemountainsculturalcentre.com.au/public-programs/

From the first day of opening, the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre has cemented its place as a World-class venue and tourist destination.

The interactive multi-media World Heritage Interpretive Centre utilises the latest technology to celebrate the distinctive environment, history and culture of the Blue Mountains region – this is a strong drawcard for both local and international visitors and school groups wishing to experience what the World Heritage Listed Blue Mountains have to offer.
